ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Jeff Kuntz and I am a Faculty Development Advisor at NorQuest College. In this role, I work with instructors and instructional assistants and provide them with support through workshops, classroom visits, one-on-one coaching and resource development. I have been at the college for four years and in that time I have worn many hats; I have taught English, worked on several research studies, participated in a CICan International Project (Tanzania), supported professional growth planning and the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL), and competed as a Near Beer Pong Athlete!
Before coming to NorQuest, I worked for many years in the K-12 system in a variety of teaching and leadership roles and I completed a doctorate in Secondary Education (Instructional Leadership) at the University of Alberta. I’ve been happily married to Cynthia for 33 years and we have five kids and two very busy border collies. Our two oldest are married (no grandkids yet…) and the three others still live at home (We have to stop cooking with cheese!). I like getting together with friends, watching hockey (Especially the Bruins), reading and traveling. That's a selfie from a recent trip to Switzerland - Cynthia and I are standing outside the museum in Zurich. The picture at the top of the page is from an alleyway in Zanzibar and the one below is of the waterfront of Stonetown, Zanzibar. I've inserted an autobiographical statement if you interested in learning more about my journey and qualifications as an educator. My Curriculum Vitae can be found by clicking on the button below. |
